1997 DUCATI 900 SUPERSPORT CR

This is a 1997 Ducati 900 SS CR in factory yellow. The owner just did a multiple of service things to the bike including: new Fork Seals, new Clutch basket and plates, New timing belts, valves are adjusted, full carburetor rebuild with new parts throughout the bike. Bike runs great. Mechanically the bike is dialed in. The bike is priced very low because the final part of the restoration that still needs to be done is to repair a frame crack that are a common problems in the later bikes. There is a small crack starting near the headstock where the tank supports were welded in. This problem is fixable by a good welder. From 1991 to 1998, the model was called a 900SS, and was available with a full(SS) or half fairing(SS/CR). The revised Supersports were met with immediate success and became wildly popular. Even though the 1991 Supersport was extremely well developed, Ducati would continue to refine the bike over the years.
